History
Montgomery’s CarpetsPlus Color Tile opened in
September 1998. Originally located directly
across the street from the current location, the
decision was made five years later to relocate
to the new building, doubling their size.
Services
At Montgomery’s CarpetsPlus Color Tile, it is the
passion of Vern, Bev, Mike, Mark, and Missy
Montgomery along with their staff to provide top
notch customer service while meeting their
customers’ needs in both residential and
commercial floor covering.
Montgomery’s offers carpet, hardwood, laminate,
ceramic and porcelain tile as well as resilient
and area rugs.
In addition to residential work, Montgomery’s
also specializes in assisted living facilities,
banks and churches.
Showroom
Upon entering their showroom, you will see the
Idea Center kiosks. These kiosks provide a
great starting point for those who want more
information on the selection of carpet and hard
surface flooring.
To help you visualize what some products would
look like in your home, they have many floors
installed around the showroom.
Pricing
Montgomery's offers "all-inclusive installed
pricing" for all flooring. For carpet, this includes
premium pad, removal of old carpets, furniture
moving, etc. No add-ons whatsoever!
You can also choose a "cash-n-carry" price for
hard surface flooring.
Awards
The store was nominated for Business of the
Year in 2001 and 2002 and has been awarded
"The Best Place to Buy Floor Coverings" award
since 2003 not to mention the CarpetsPlus
Color Tile Retailer of the Year award in 2007.
Community Involvement
They are a member of the Venice Area Chamber
of Commerce and are also very active in the
community, sponsoring local sports teams, the
YMCA and the Lions Club, among others.
